North Cheshire Radio will aim to provide programmes to suit the various tastes and needs of all our community.

Weekday daytime programming will be aimed at the whole community providing a vibrant mix of news, information, music, chat and local comment. A special emphasis will be placed on the localness of our output, making North Cheshire Radio the obvious choice for anyone who would like to keep their finger on the pulse of life in Northern Cheshire.

We will aspire to be as inclusive as possible, paying special attention towards fulfilling the listening needs of those not represented by other stations available within our target transmission area. Opportunities will be available for minority groups to provide programming to their communities, and could be based on specialist music, social inclusion, cultural identity or other ideas put forwards by members of our community and the North Cheshire Radio team.

Opportunities to train in broadcasting skills will be available for all volunteers, with the aim that they will attain the necessary skills to produce and present their own programmes on North Cheshire Radio.

Local organisations will be able to access North Cheshire Radio to help promote their activities especially if they concern issues such as Health and Well Being, activities of Social Inclusion, Community Sport, Education, Public and Community Services, Youth Groups, etc.

Commercial organisations and businesses will be able to promote their activities through “low cost” advertising and sponsorship of North Cheshire Radio programmes and features.

Hopefully we will have studios that will look similar to this, but don't be scared, it's easier to use than you'd think, and we will provide training to any volunteer free of charge.
